Lucknow: Mayawati, the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party, has called the Yogi government as arrogant and dictator. The BSP supremo condem the act of misbehaving with the media in Hathras gangrape case. Police lathicharge on the opposition parties onn this she advised the Yogi government of UP to change its arrogant and dictatorial attitude.

Mayawati's allegations against Yogi Govt:

BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted on Monday morning that after the Hathras gang rape. The first time the BSP delegation went there on September 28 to meet the victim's family and to know the correct facts, who were called to the police station. The report after the talk was very sad, which forced me to go to the media.

In the next tweet, Mayawati said that after this, there was misbehavior with the media. Even after going there and lathicharge of police with opposition leaders and people. Yesterday and day before yesterday is very condemnable and shameful. Advice to the government to change its arrogant and dictatorial attitude, otherwise it will weaken the roots of democracy.

Mayawati urges Govt to do a fair inquiry:

Earlier on Sunday, the BSP supremo had expressed apprehension over the recommendation of a CBI probe by the UP government on how a fair inquiry could be conducted into the cases of Hathras District Magistrate, who was accused of threatening the victim's family. He had tweeted that the victim family of Hathras gang rape case has made many serious allegations of intimidation etc. on the DM of the district.

Yet the secret silence of the UP government is sad and very worrying. Although the government has agreed to a CBI investigation, how can the DM be there to conduct an impartial inquiry into the matter? People are apprehensive.
