BSP chief Mayawati seeks dismissal of Haryana government

Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati on Thursday sought to distance from fledgling Dalit outfit BHIM Army which was said to be in the root of recent Dalit-Thakur riots in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Rubbishing latest intelligence reports about BSP's connection with the BHIM Army, she said this infact was creation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in order to defame and malign her party. "We have nothing to do with such organisations which are created to take political and social mileage out of nothing," said Mayawati.

The BSP leader said this was the high time, the BSP supporters should be wary of existence of outfits like BHIM Army and also of the designs of BJP. Such creations had been designed to jolt the ideology of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and the movement of Bahujan Samaj Party, she pointed out.

Her outrage came at the time when some speculative reports quoting intelligence inputs of Uttar Pradesh government said that the trouble created in Saharanpur was handiwork of BHIM Army which had been in the constant touch with the senior BSP leadership.
