Maya and Amit are making baseless charges, says Shivpal
Lucknow: In a quick repartee, Uttar Pradesh Public Works minister Shivpal Singh Yadav said statements of BJP president Amit Shah and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati are misleading.
“People occupying higher positions should not indulge in falsehood. They should not say anything without proof. They should apologise publicly or prove my complicity,” said Shivpal Singh Yadav on Saturday in Lucknow.
What else he said:
- Advised BJP chief for doing positive politics.
- Shah should stop misleading people of Uttar Pradesh.
Hitting back at the statement of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Maywati, Shivpal said she should verify facts before making the statements.
Mayawati comes here only to make statements like a tourist, he added.
