An upset LK Advani fumes at parliament speaker, BJP, opposition parties

New Delhi: Showing his displeasure over frequent disruptions in the winter session of the Parliament for the last three weeks, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran Lal Krishna Advani on Wednesday called the situation 'disgraceful' and questioned the manner in which the proceedings are being conducted.

While expressing his anger to the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar, Advani said "neither the speaker Sumitra Mahajan nor the parliamentary affairs minister is running the house".

Both had words ahead of the lunch break while slogans were raised from Congress and TMC.

Advani asked till what time the Lok Sabha had been adjourned. When he was told it was till 2 pm, the veteran asked sarcastically, "Why not sine die?"

While Ananth Kumar was seen pacifying Advani, the veteran party leader said, "I am going to tell the Speaker that she is not running the house... Both the opposition and the government are unable to run the house"

Meanwhile, both the houses were adjourned for the day in the afternoon following repeated adjournments.
