(LIVE) MP Poliitical Crisis: No floor test today, Vidhan Sabha adjourned

Bhopal: Kamal Nath government had to prove its majority on Monday i.e. today in the midst of political reversal in Madhya Pradesh for several days. But now the assembly was adjourned till 26 March.

In such a situation, Kamal Nath could not prove a majority today. Actually, the budget session started in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from today. The proceedings were initiated but the session was later adjourned.

-Another Congress MLA in Gujarat has resigned ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls in the state, taking the tally of legislators who have quit the party to five.

-BJP slams Congress on the postponement of the floor test. 'Congress doesn't have numbers. We paraded MLAs in front of the Governor' says Shiv Raj Chauhan.

- The Supreme court is likely to take up the issue tomorrow on BJP's immediate floor test demand.

- BJP moves Supreme Court over the Madhya Pradesh political crisis demanding a direction to the Speaker to conduct an immediate floor test.

- The budget session in Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly started from today.

- On the commencement of the proceedings of the Legislative Budget session, Governor Lalji Tandon in his address asked the MLAs to follow their obligations.

-Earlier, due to fear of Corona virus, the MLA arrived in the assembly wearing a mask.

Resignation of party member:

Coming out of the Raj Bhavan around 12.20 am, Nath told reporters that the governor had called him for a discussion.

“The governor told me that the proceedings of the state assembly should be carried out smoothly. So I told him that I will talk to the speaker in this regard on Monday morning,” he said.
