Kapil Mishra on EVM row: Tomorrow AAP will blame people's fingers for defeat
New Delhi: Taking on Aam Aadmi Party's demonstration of alleged tampering of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra claimed on Tuesday that after the party's nest defeat, its leaders will start claiming that it was the fault of people's fingers.
“Tomorrow AAP will claim that their defeat was the fault of people's finger that pressed the wrong button,” said Mishra.
It may be mentioned that the former Delhi water resource minister was present in the assembly during the EVM hack demonstration by AAP MLA from Greater Kailash, Saurabh Bhardwaj, but he did not speak a word during the special session.
Software-engineer-turned-politician Bharadwaj claimed that the EVMs can be hacked easily as long as you known the code.
Mishra has condemned Kejriwal as well as AAP after his relations with the party and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal entered a rough patch.
Mishra on Saturday alleged that he saw Kejriwal accepting Rs 2 crore bribe from PWD minister Satyendra Jain. Later on Monday, he was suspended from party's primary membership. The decision was taken in AAP PAC meet.
