Hum Saath Saath Hain: Jethani Dimple campaigns for Devrani Aparna
Lucknow: Both the daughters-in-law of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, who are known to maintain uneasy relationship between them, came to campaign together for the first time for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls.
SP MP from Kannauj, Dimple Yadav came here to campaign in favour of her 'devrani', Aparna Yadav, who is the wife of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's step brother Prateek Yadav.
It may be mentioned that Aparna is contesting from the Lucknow Cantt assembly seat opposite Congress rebel leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi, who has joined BJP.
Speaking at the occassion, Dimple said that Samajwadi Party government worked for the youths in the state.
Hitting at the Narendra Modi government and the Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo Mayawati, wife of UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said, "Demonetisation move by the Centre forced people to stand in queues in banks and ATMs, whereas Buaji (Mayawati) erected elephant statues in lines in parks across the state."
Voting in the third phase of UP Assembly Polls will be held on February 19 in 69 constituencies.
