BJP's Jammu and Kashmir unit president Ravinder Raina also made the remarks in a veiled reference to Mehbooba's demand for talks with everyone, including Pakistan. He said that India has always favored friendly relations with its neighbors which should not be taken as its weakness. "Conversation and guns cannot go together," he said.

He said that India shares very cordial relations with Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan and other countries. "As far as Pakistan is concerned, it has waged a proxy war against India but it will never succeed in its plans.
