Jaitley attacks Delhi govt. for misusing the state exchequer
New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has once again attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for misusing the government funds to manipulate media.
“The friendly media is being given advertisements but media houses which are critical of the AAP government are being denied the ad revenue,” Jaitley said to a television channel on Friday night.
On CBFC row:
The Union Finance Minister even hinted that wings of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Pahlaj Nihalani will be clipped in the next couple of weeks.
The indication from the government came after facing embarrassment on the Udta Punjab film row.
On UP polls 2017:
Jaitley said that issue of Ram temple will not be the agenda for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to contest the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Kairana Hindu exodus:
"We don't want in anyway to communalise or polarise the election, but if there is even some evidence of migration taking place from Kairana, it's an important issue that the state government there must address it"
