Bagpat: Former Mumbai police commissioner and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Dr Satyapal Singh made a controversial statement and said that he was once the biggest 'goonda' of Mumbai.

Singh was speaking at a school function on Thursday in Bagpat of Uttar Pradesh. "I was lenient with innocents but could really be stern to tricky ones" said Singh.

Satyapal targets State Government:

Satyapal Singh also criticized State Government by saying that a region cannot flourish if its administration is weak. He stated that the only reason to invite Union Minister of state Haribhai Chaoudhary in Baghpat is that the region needs a strict law and order.

The Member of Parliament in a sarcastic tone questioned the Jain Saints present at the event about when did the hindi word 'Sant' changed to Saints.
