Govt wants to snatch the income of farmers: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday intensified the attack on the BJP government at the Center over three agricultural laws, alleging that the government wanted to snatch the income and future of farmers for the benefit of a few top industrialists of the country.

Rahul Gandhi targets Modi Govt:

Rahul Gandhi was addressing an event in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, through a recorded video message. In the program, cash was distributed to farmers and livestock farmers under two schemes of the state.

She has brought three agricultural laws against farmers. The central government wants to take away the income and future of the farmers and give it to two or three big industrialists.”

Praising the government of Bhupesh Baghel of Chhattisgarh, Gandhi said that he was happy that his party’s government in Chhattisgarh and other states It is on the way to help farmers, laborers, small businessmen, youth and women.

Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetisation and GST, Gandhi said, "Narendra Modi's government implemented demonetisation and GST and today you can see that India has failed to generate employment." In contrast, the Chhattisgarh government helped the farmers and strengthened the rural economy. The Congress leader said, "We have invested money in the rural economy and Chhattisgarh (during the Corona virus crisis) is not facing any problems which other states are facing."
