New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is going to meet farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri today. Earlier, by holding a press conference, he has attacked the Modi government. During the press conference, Rahul Gandhi said that land acquisition was the first attack on the farmers and the agriculture law is the second attack on the farmers of the country.

Rahul Gandhi interacts with media:

The protesting farmers are being crushed under the jeep and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not spoken anything on the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. No action has been taken against the accused minister and his son yet. Let us inform that after the detention of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Vadra in Lakhimpur Kheri of Uttar Pradesh, now former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is preparing to go there today along with the party delegation.

RaGa targets PM Modi:

Attacking PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi said that yesterday the Prime Minister was in Lucknow, but could not go to Lakhimpur Kheri. Postmortem is not being done properly. Today we will try to meet those families by going to Lakhimpur Kheri along with 2 Chief Ministers. However, let us inform that the Uttar Pradesh administration has not allowed Rahul Gandhi to go to Lakhimpur. All preparations have been made to stop them in Noida as well.

Rahul Gandhi also got angry on the media during the press conference. He said that it is the responsibility of the media to raise this issue prominently. But when I raise the question, you people say that we are doing politics.

Rahul Gandhi said that we 3 people are going to Lakhimpur Kheri. I know that there the administration is imposing section-144 and this section prevents 5 people from gathering at one place. So we should not be stopped by law from going there. We want to share the grief of the bereaved family. What mistake have we made that the administration is stopping us from going to Lakhimpur Kheri.
