The Congress Working Committee (CWC) is going to have a big meeting on Monday. There is every possibility of discussion about the Congress President in this meeting. Several senior leaders have written letters to the interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi. There has been an uproar in the party after this letter.

President Should be non Gandhi: Rahul

In the Congress meeting, there will be a demand to make Rahul Gandhi president again, but Rahul has clearly said that he should not become the president and the command of the party should be given to any non-Gandhi. Now it is news that if Sonia Gandhi resigns, then former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh or senior leader AK Antony can be made the interim president of the Congress.

Who will be Party President?

The issue of leadership in the party has deepened ahead of the important meeting of the Congress Working Committee on Monday. Even before the meeting, 23 top leaders of the party have insisted on making major changes in the party, seeking to be made full-time presidents by blasting letter bombs.

A section of the party is demanding to hand over the command to Rahul Gandhi, while many prominent leaders are in favor of making a leader who is fully active in the field and proves to be effective. The right thing is that the Congress is standing at a crossroads on the issue of leadership and an opinion is not being formed in the party for the post of the President of the party.
