Dimple Yadav has taken over reins of Samajwadi Party war-room

It may be recalled that Dimple had made her political debut from Firozabad parliamentary seat in 2009 though she had lost. She was elected to Lok sabha in 2012 when Akhilesh had left Kannuaj seat after becoming UP CM and pitched here from there. She retained the seat in 2014

Dimple Yadav has taken over reigns of Samajwadi Party war-room

Lucknow: As was being speculated, Dimple Yadav , the wife of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party MP from Kannuaj, has been pro-active in the election campaigning for assembly elections 2017. She has taken reins of the publicity blitz of the party spending consiedrable time in the election 'war-room' of the SP here in the state capital.

The hi-tech 'war-room' of the Samajwadi Party, equipped with all modern gadgets and a number of computers manned by a about 50-strong team of volunteers is regularly visited by her since it was set up few days ago.

Dimple, generally a low-profile leader, is expected to campaign for the coming UP Assembly elections along with Priyanka Gandhi after SP and Congress forged a pre-poll alliance. It was rather surprising for a quiet leader like her to be in the forefront in the publicity campaign of the party but then the stakes are so high for Akhilesh that she had to take plunge.

The www.newstrack.com correspondent, when visited the war-room' on Monday found her present there. It was again a non-familiar gesture from her that she interacted with this correspondent wanted to know many things about joint road show by Akhilesh and Rahul Gandhi in the state capital on Sunday.

SP war-room keeps an eye over the electioneering of other parties as well as making its own strategy for the party through social media and other means.

It may be recalled that Dimple had made her political debut from Firozabad parliamentary seat in 2009 though she had lost. She was elected to Lok sabha in 2012 when Akhilesh had left Kannuaj seat after becoming UP CM and pitched here from there. She retained the seat in 2014.
