Kamal Nath has written in a letter to PM Modi. He quoted Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar had described the federal form of the Constitution as the most beautiful aspect. Due to the untiring efforts of Baba Saheb, this nation got the federal constitution. It gives separate autonomy to the center and the state.

Kamal Nath has further stated in his letter that it is due to the federal system that there is an identity of Indian democracy all over the world. For some time, the federal system of India has been constantly attacked, hurting the sentiments of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. The states where the ruling party at the center has a government of opposing parties are being dropped in an unethical manner.
