Azamgarh: Samajwadi Party leader Ramakant Yadav from Azamgarh has been booked for spreading wrong information related to Corona virus. Azamgarh police registered FIR against him in the case of rumor protrude.

"Police have registered a case in the Sidhari police station of Azamgarh against Yadav for rumour-mongering and misguiding people," said Akmal Khan, Circle Officer (CO) Sadar, Azamgarh.

SP Leader Ramakant Yadav, in a conversation with media said that corona virus is nothing, but center is spreading this rumor for hiding their faults. The video related to this as viral on social media. He also added that govt is doing this because they want to impose CAA NRC and by this they can divert people's mind.

He also said that he will refuse all the guidelines given by WHO and Modi govt. He will follow the instruction of them. Here is the video -

Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav is appealing people for not spreading rumors and to be safe at home. Akhilesh Yadav shared so many social media posts related to corona symptoms and he urged people to take care of themselves.

"Today I want to say one thing to my party workers and people of the state.. treatment of COVID-19 is the job of a doctor but checking its spread is our responsibility."

He further added that is you feel any symptoms related to corona then consult to the doctor immediately. "Visit a doctor immediately for testing if you spot COVID-19 symptoms in yourself, family or neighbourhood. Remain clean, don't meet others and also check the spread of rumors through WhatsApp and other media," the SP chief added.
