CWC Meeting:

Addressing an important meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), Sonia Gandhi said that she intends to set up a small group to look into every aspect that led to such a change. Apart from former PM Manmohan Singh, the Congress Working Committee also includes AK Antony and Ghulam Nabi Azad of the disgruntled faction of the party G-23.

We need to work hard: Sonia Gandhi

In this meeting called for the churning of the Congress in the elections, Sonia Gandhi said that while we are all busy with COVID19, this meeting has been called to discuss the election results.

To say that we are deeply disappointed is to make sense. I intend to set up a small group to look at every aspect and report very quickly. She said that we need to clearly understand why we failed to dislike inconsistent goons in Kerala and Assam and our account could not be opened in West Bengal.

These will give uncomfortable lessons, but if we do not face the reality, if we do not keep the facts in front, then we will not take the right lesson.

In this meeting, the interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi, has targeted the Modi government regarding the vaccine. Sonia Gandhi said that the Modi government has relinquished its responsibility and left vaccination on the states. She said that providing free vaccine to all states by the Center would be more justified financially.
