Centre issues a new advisory to states and union territories
New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs sent on Monday a new advisory to all the states and union territories suggesting that instead of flower bouquet a single flower should be offered to Prime Minister Narendra Modi whenever he visits them.
Alternatively, a book could be presented to him.
The MHA has not assigned any reason for it . The general belief is that the advisory has been issued in the light of a suggestion made by the Prime Minister's office.
The advisory has been addressed to chief secretaries of states and chief administrators of the union territories.
