Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui on Friday announced that party will stage a state wide protest on July 25 against the deprecatory remarks made by expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh on Mayawati.

“The party will stage protest on the party headquarters of 17 divisions across Uttar Pradesh as the administration has done nothing even after giving us an assurance to take action within 36 hours,” Siddiqui said in a press conference in Lucknow.

All the allegations are baseless:

All the allegations made on him by the mother of Dayashankar Singh were baseless and were being done to take political mileage by the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2017 Vidhan Sabha polls which BSP will not let happen, Siddiqui added.

He added, "The meaning of Pesh Karo-Pesh karo was taken in a wrong manner by the saffron party."

“Will the mother, wife and daughter of Dayashankar Singh justify the language used by him against a woman,” Siddiqui questioned.

The hidden agenda of the BJP is to suppress the Una incident of Gujarat in the backdrop of this incident, said Siddiqui.
