BSP leader Ambika Chaudhary's son arrested in Ballia

Ballia: Son of BSP candidate Ambika Chaudhary, Anand Chaudhary, was arrested by Ballia Police after an FIR was lodged against him on Saturday.

The FIR was filed by Mohit Yadav, son of Samajwadi Party assembly candidate Sangram Yadav after a scuffle took place between groups of both the parties in Sagarpali village near Phephna Police Station.

Mohit Yadav has alleged that Anand Chaudhary forcibly entered his residence and abused his family and him. Yadav also said in his complaint that Chaudhary threatened to kill him.

Ambika Chaudhary, however, has refused any such incident of clash. He said, "The SP candidate Sangram Yadav and his son have filed a false case against my son. They also kidnapped my son while was coming back to Ballia on Friday night."It could be mentioned that the sixth phase polling is underway in Ballia and both Ambika Chaudhary and Sangram Yadav are contesting the elections from BSP and SP respectively.
