Bring Mallaya to book, Mayawati urges the BJP government

Lucknow: BSP Supremo Mayawati has demanded the bank defaulter Vijay Mallya to bring back from United Kingdom to try in the court of justice.

'' He is an economic offender and if the BJP-led NDA government fails to bring him to book ,it will easily be construed that the central government deliberately allowed him to flee from the country,'' she said in a statement.

Vijay Mallya should , in any case, should be tried in the court of law by Indian government and it would be most unfortunate if the National Demccratic Alliance government could not do it, she pointed out adding firstly ,it was Lalit Modi and now Mallaya was allowed to run away which did not see the Centre in good light.
