BJP to launch its party manifesto for 2019 Lok Sabha polls today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched his party's manifesto centered on issues of development and national security for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls which is scheduled to start from April 11 on Monday.

PM Modi during the manifesto release said, "we have set 75 well-defined resolutions in our manifesto that we can fulfill in a time bound manner. We are moving forward with 'one mission, one direction'."

What BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' has to offer:

-Easing regulatory requirement for startups

-Targeting time spent for tax compliance at 1 hour per month

-Facilitating establishment of 50,000 new Startups in the nation by 2024

-Creating 100 Innovation Zones in Urban Local Bodies

-Setting up 500 new incubators and accelerators by 2024

-Collateral-free credit up to Rs 50 lakh for entrepreneurs.

- 50% of the loan amount for female entrepreneurs and 25% of the loan amount for male entrepreneurs

- By 2024, a total capital investment of Rs.100 lakh crore in the infrastructure sector.

-Short-term new agriculture loans up to Rs 1 lakh at a 0% interest rate for 1-5 years on the .," says Rajnath Singh.

-Pension to all small and marginal farmers.

Senior BJP leader Arun-Jaitley on Sunday unveiled party's campaign themes "Phir ek baar, Modi sarkar" (Modi government, once more) as the tag line.

Top party leaders, including Prime Minister Modi, Rajnath Singh, and party chief Amit Shah were all present at the launch of the manifesto.

Recently, Congress on April 02 released its 55-pages long manifesto, woven around 'NYAY', offering 20% of Indian population (i.e 5 crore families or 25 crore individuals) 6,000 every month under the Nyuntam Aay Yojana, or NYAY scheme.
