According to the sources in the police department, the threat call was made through internet and the police is on a lookout for the culprits.

Sakshi in his complaint has said that the caller abused him as well a few top BJP leaders while threatening to kill him if he does not stop advocating Hinduism, said Unnao City Circle Officer, Hradesh Katheria.

The complaint says that the caller has claimed that he would kill Sakshi with a bomb attack after March 11, the date of counting of votes and declaration of results of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

It may be mentioned that the BJP MP is known for delivering controversial speeches. He recently, stroked a fresh controversy by asking Muslims to cremate the dead bodies instead of burying.
