Chandauli: BJP MLA, Sadhana Singh's disparaging remarks on Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawat, during a public rally on Sunday, has invited a notice from the National Commission for Women.

Sadhana made some derogatory remarks on BSP Supremo Mayawati by calling her 'a blot on womankind' and 'worse than a transgender'. After facing much criticism from SP and BSP leaders, the National Commission for Women has announced to issue a formal notice to Sadhana, asking her about the incident.

The BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh was addressing a rally where she talked about Mayawati in a distasteful manner. She hurled allegations on BSP chief for collaborating with her perpetrators. She accused her of selling her dignity and pride and called her an opportunist who kept aside her morals. Referring to the controversial incident of Lucknow guest house in 1995, where BSP leaders were attacked by SP workers, she said that Maya has joined hands with the ones that assaulted her. She has put her respect on stake and is a blot on womankind, she neither belongs to male or female category and is worse than a eunuch.

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale also condemned this statement. BSP leader S.C. Mishra said that this statement shows BJP's mentality and how low they can stoop in politics.
