New Delhi: Counting of votes is underway for the by-elections of three seats in West Bengal. Among the three seats, Bhabanipur is a high-profile seat where TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is pitted against BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal and CPM's Shreejiv Biswas.

The result of Bhabanipur assembly by-election is very important for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Today's result will be clear whether Mamta Banerjee will continue for the post of Chief Minister or not. Let us inform that apart from Bhabanipur, the results of the by-elections held in Samserganj and Jangipur in Bengal will also come.

Mamata Banerjee takes massive lead:

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee leads by 58,389 votes in Bhabanipur Assembly bypolls after the last round of counting.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) is also leading in Samserganj and Jangipur seats of Murshidabad. Counting of votes is also going on for the by-elections to these two assembly seats.

Mamata Banerjee is leading very fast in Bhabanipur seat. After the seventh round, Mamata Banerjee was leading over BJP leader Priyanka Tibrewal by more than 26,000 votes.

CM Mamata was ahead of BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal by 12,435 votes in Bhawanipur seat at 11:30am. After this increase, the supporters of Mamata Banerjee have started celebrating.

After the third round of counting in Bhawanipur seat, CM Mamta Banerjee has made a big lead. CM Mamta is now ahead of BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal by 4600 votes.

West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee is leading by 3680 votes in the first phase of counting, according to the Election Commission data. Whereas BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal has got 881 votes so far.

CM Mamata Banerjee is leading from Bhawanipur seat of West Bengal. Apart from this, TMC is also currently leading in Samserganj and Jangipur seats.

TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is pitted against BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal and CPM's Shreejiv Biswas in Bengal's Bhawanipur seat. Mamata needs to win this by-election to retain the chief minister's post.
