Bengal Polls: Jaya Bachchan to campaign for Mamata Banerjee

New Delhi: Votes will be cast on April 6 for the third phase of the West Bengal Assembly Election 2021. In the two rounds of polling held so far, both the Trinamool Congress and the BJP are claiming victory.

Jaya Bachchan to campaign for TMC:

Meanwhile, TMC has fielded star campaigner and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan for the remaining five more phase voting. Jaya Bachchan has reached Kolkata and she will campaign against Babul Supriyo today.

West Bengal Assembly Election:

This time in Bengal, the Tollygunge seat is in the limelight. Against TMC three-time MLA Arup Biswas, BJP has fielded Union Minister Babul Supriyo as its candidate. It is believed that there is going to be a tremendous competition between these two. Tollygunge is known for Bengali cinema. Supriyo is a big singer and his songs are also popular in Bangla films. In such a situation, they can give a tough competition to faith. The special thing is that Supriyo is a BJP MP from Bengal. Despite this, he has been fielded in the assembly elections.
