Barelvi and Deobandis meet for the first time
Saharanpur: The ideological differences between Barelvi and Deoband sects of Muslims nothwithstanding, leaders of both came together to meet the family of a suspected terrorist Shaqir in saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh.
Barelvi Ulema Taukir Raza reached Darul Uloom Deoband to meet the clerics over the arrest of suspected terrorist Shaqir. Raza met the family members of Shaqir, who was detained by STF and
Delhi police, on May 4 last assuring them all possible help.
Shaqir Ansari was detained for relations with terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM)
What he said:
- Indian Muslims can never be terrorist.
- Government, media and administration are conspiring to malign Muslims.
- Muslim youths are being jailed and are acquitted after 10-15 years.
- This is being done on the behest of RSS.
