Ayodhya Temple issue should be solved through talks: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath chose the RSS mouthpiece Panchajanya for his first interview after becoming the chief minister of the state, where he said that Ayodhya Ram Mandir issue should be solved amicably.

He welcomed the Supreme Court's observation that said Ayodhya was a 'sensitive' and 'sentimental' issue and it should resolved with dialogue between the parties involved.

Over the state government's crackdown on illegal slaughter houses, Yogi recalled the verdict of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and said that his government is just following the orders passed by NGT and Allahabad High Court.

Yogi, however, reiterated that slaughter houses with legal licence will not be troubled.

Giving a health tip to the people of the state, Adityanath said that vegetarian food is good for health and everyone should go vegan.
