New Delhi: The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, addressed the entire nation on the occasion of 74th Independence Day today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed self-reliant India during this period. He said that till just a few months ago, we used to get N-95 masks, PPE kits, ventilators from abroad. Congress Party also took a jibe at PM Modi's independence day speech.

Today, in all these, India is not only fulfilling its own needs, but has also come forward to help other countries. Addressing the country, PM Modi said that India is fiercely combating terrorism (Pakistan) and expansionism (China). Indian soldiers are fighting enemies on every front.

Randeep Surjewala on Democracy:

The Congress has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his address on the occasion of 74th Independence Day. Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said whether the government believes in democracy. We need to think about this. Self-reliant India was founded by former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Congress attacks on PM Modi:

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said that does the government believe in democracy? One needs to think about it. Former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru established a self-sufficient India. But this government sold everything.

PM Modi said in his address that this year is the year of a new development journey of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Jammu and Kashmir had got independence from 370 in one year ago. This year has been an important milestone in the new development journey. He said that this year is a year of rights for women and Dalits in Jammu and Kashmir.
