Amit Shah flags off 'parivartan yatra' in Jhansi; slams SP, BSP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah flagged off the Parivartan Yatra here on Sunday. He chose the occasion to hit out at the ruling Samajwadi Party and Mayawati led BSP by saying that both the parties have jointly ruined the state in past 15 years.

Amit Shah flags off 'parivartan yatra' in Jhansi; slams SP, BSP

Jhansi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah flagged off the Parivartan Yatra here on Sunday. He chose the occasion to hit out at the ruling Samajwadi Party and Mayawati led BSP by saying that both the parties have jointly ruined the state in past 15 years.

Saying that only BJP will ensure the development work in Uttar Pradesh, Shah appealed the people in Jhansi to vote for it in large numbers.

Shah was accompanied by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Uma Bharti and other senior BJP leaders.

Amit Shah slammed SP government:

  • Leaders in Samajwadi Party are indulged into an internal clash of finding a successor to Neta Ji (Mulayam Singh Yadav).
  • The Akhilesh Yadav government in the state have kept farmers deprived of the benefits of crop insurance scheme.
  • Mining Scam is going on in full swing in the state. Bundelkhand will receive several benefits if illegal mining stops in UP.
  • It is the promise of prime minister Narendra Modi and BJP that if we (BJP) comes to power in state, UP will be the richest state.
  • Kick SP out of power.

What Rajnath Singh said?

  • Farmers in Bundelkhand have no water for irrigation.
  • BJP buys farmer's grain in good prices.
  • BJP provides fertilizer to farmers. Earlier, it was a big task for any farmer to get fertilizer for irrigation purposes.
