BJP will make Uttar Pradesh the No 1 state, claims Amit Shah

Mathura: Taking a jibe at the Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance, the Bhartiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah, on Saturday said, that those who are trying to convenience you that they will change the destiny of Uttar Pradesh have even failed to manage their families.

"The alliance has happened between the two leaders out of whom one has troubled his mother and the other has depressed his father just for the sake of their own benefits. Two Princes (Akhilesh and Rahul) have come together for the UP elections. One of them (Rahul) has looted the country, while the other (Akhilesh) has ransacked the state. Now both have joined hands to plunder UP together,” said Shah who was here to address a public gathering ahead of the ensuing assembly polls.

The BJP national president stated, "Ek se maa pareshan hai, dusre se baap. Ye kya UP ka bhala karenge? Ek ne desh ko loota hai, ek ne Pradesh ko."

Attacking the poor law and order situation of the state, Shah said that the government which could not stop crimes and provide safety to the people has no right to be in power. "UP has the most number of rape and murder cases and Samajwadi Government has been failed to control it," stated Shah.

The BJP national president further said, "UP will witness Acche Din once it will get rid of the Akhilesh government."

The five constituencies of Mathura district will go to polls in the first phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly polls on February 11 and the results will be declared on March 11.
