VIDEO: Demonetisation would not affect common people, says Shah

New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party national President Amit Shah on Friday stated that the decision regarding demonetisation of old Rs 500 denomination notes and Rs 1000 notes is a big blow to terrorists, naxalities, fake currency, hawala operators. "It is for those who posses black money. Common people need not worry," he said.

While addressing a press conference at BJP headquarters in the national capital, he said,"those who are speaking against the Centre's decision should come on a public platform and express their views with a proper explanation."

It may be recalled that two prominent political leaders Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav had said earlier that the decision of Modi government was an undeclared financial emergency.
