Akhilesh Yadav reaches Ayodhya; says Lord Ram belongs to SP as well

The Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, on Tuesday, said that Ram belongs to SP as much as it belongs to anyone else.

Asserting that nobody has a copyright on Lord Ram, the Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, on Tuesday, said that Ram belongs to SP as much as it belongs to anyone else.

Akhilesh, who visited his parliamentary constituency Azamgarh on Monday, stopped midway in Ayodhya while travelling to Lucknow. The former UP CM said that he will visit Ayodhya again along with his wife and children to seek the blessings of Lord Ram.

Akhilesh also recalled everyone the development work done at Ayodhya during his Samajwadi Party regime in Uttar Pradesh. He said, "Lights in the banks of river Saryu and sound system at the Bhajan Sthal were installed when SP was in power in the state.”

Making clear on alliances with other parties for the upcoming 2022 Assembly Elections, Akhilesh said, “Our experience has not been very pleasant when we forged with bigger parties, hence Samajwadi Party will be forging an alliance with smaller parties in the 2022 assembly elections,” Yadav said.

"I will leave Jaswantnagar's seat for my uncle Shivpal Yadav," he added.
