Akhilesh Yadav to contest UP polls from Sarojini Nagar constituency

Lucknow: Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav would contest the upcoming assembly polls from Sarojini Nagar constituency of Uttar Pardesh capital.

According to Samajwadi Party sources, the UP CM would announce the final decision by Friday evening. It could be mentioned that earlier SP Lok Sabha member Dharmendra Yadav's brother Anurag Yadav was selected as the party candidate from the Sarojini Nagar assembly seats.

Akhilesh Yadav said, "I am ready to contest the election and I am assured of winning it too. The final decision regarding this seat would be announced by today evening and whosoever would be found eligible would be announced as the candidate by the party."
