Varanasi: The joint press conference, which was to be addressed by the duo of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi , on March 6, has been cancelled due to their back to back rallies today.

It may be mentioned that on the last day of campaigning for the seventh phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, both the leaders have the hectic schedule of addressing the public gatherings which none of them wants to miss as it would be the last chance for them to attract the electorate of the eastern part of state.

The polling in the seven districts namely Ghazipur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Sonbhadra and Jaunpur for the seventh phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections is schedule to take place on March 8. The results will be declared on March 11.
