Akhilesh Yadav jibes at Shah; says 'K' for Kabootar not Congress

Ayodhya: Taking a dig at the BJP President Amit Shah’s ‘Kasab’ remark, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that ‘K’ stands for Kabootar (Pigeon) which signifies peace.

Akhilesh said, “We all have learnt in school days that ‘K’ stands for Kabootar but only for BJP and Mr. Shah, ‘K’ is Congress.”

Speaking at a rally in Ayodhya, Akhilesh, without naming Amit Shah, said that outsiders are influencing the people in the state by making fake promises.

It may be mentioned that Amit Shah had on Tuesday compared Congress, SP and BSP with KASAB.

Soon after Shah’s controversial statement, the opposition leaders launched a war of words, condemning the Bharatiya Janata Party. BSP Supremo Mayawati even tagged Amit Shah as the biggest terrorist in the country.
