Bengaluru: Following some disciplined bowling, Gautam Gambhir led Kolkata Knight Riders has restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad at a total of 128 runs in the Indian Premier League Eliminator at M Chinnaswamy stadium here on Wednesday,

Nathan Coulter-Nile was the leading wicket taker for KKR with bowling figures of 3/20.

After being put to bat, SRH lost its first in the form of Shikhar Dhawan (11). Then came Kane Williamson and together with captain David Warner stitched 50-run stand.

Williamson's slow inning came to an end at a score of 24 runs. He took 26 balls and hit two fours and a single six.

Yuvraj Singh was yet again a failure. He was dismissed at an individual score of 9 runs. Vijay Shankar played a fine 22-run knock off 17 deliveries. Naman Ojha also failed to add much contribution to a sinking ship and was back to a dug out after scoring 16 runs.

Umesh Yadav, Trent Boult and Piyush Chawla picked two, one and one wicket respectively.

KKR needs to chase down 129 runs to win save its berth for the qualifier 2.
