IPL 10: Saha's storm powers KXIP to post mammoth total against MI

Mumbai: Mumbai Indians bowlers were mauled badly by Kings XI Punjab batsmen. In the lights of Saha and Maxwell, Punjab has set a huge 230-run total against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League match at Wankhede stadium here on Thursday.

Wriddhiman Saha was the hero in Punjab's inning. He missed his second ton in IPL by seven runs but smacked every bowler in his 55-ball 93-run inning. His breezy knock was laced with 11 fours and three sixes.

After being put to bat, Punjab was off to a fiery start. MI bowlers leaked plenty of runs in the powerplay. The first to depart was Martin Guptil who made proper use of the powerplay overs before ending his inning at 38. He hit five fours and one six in his 18-ball knock.

Glenn Maxwell has decided to hit every ball out of the park. His quick-fire knock ended at a score of 47 runs. He hit two fours and five sixes in his 21-run knock.

Shaun Marsh hit two sixes in his 16-ball 25-run knock. Axar remained unbeaten at an individual score of 19 runs.

For MI, McClenaghan, Bumrah and Karn claimed one-wicket each.

MI needs to chase down 230 runs to win this match.
