Kanpur: Gujarat Lions failed to make use of the contributions of its openers Ishan Kishan and Dwayne Smith as it was bowled out at a total of 154 runs in the Indian Premier League match at Green Park here on Saturday.

Mohammad Siraj was the major charm in Hyderabad's bowling with bowling figures 4/32. The remaining damage was done by Rashid Khan who picked three GL wickets.

After being put to bat, Gujarat Liuons was off to fiery start with Dwayne Smitha and young gun Ishan Kishan sharing 111-run stand for the first wicket. Ishan Kishan did some insane hitting before ending his inning at 61. His 40-ball knock was laced with five fours and four biggies.

Smith was also on firing mode as played a quick-fire 33-ball 54-run knock with seven fours and two sixes.

After Smith's departure, wixckets fell quickly for Gujarat.

Be it Suresh Raina (2), Dinesh Karthik (0), Aaron Finch (2), Ravindra Jadeja (20) or James Faulkner (8), no any batsmen survived in front of dangerous Hyderabad bowling.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sidharth Kaul also claimed two and one wicket respectively.

In a do-or-die encounter, SRH needs to chase down 154 to save its berth for the play-offs.
