Ambedkar's Death anniversary rally turns deadly for people

Lucknow: Two women were killed and more than 20 people injured in a stampede that took place in the rally organised by BSP on the occasion of 61st death anniversary of Bhimrao Ambedkar on Sunday.

The mishap took place when people started rushing towards the stage to get a glimpse of BSP supremo Mayawati.

According to the BSP sources, of the injured, mostly belong to Kanpur Dehat, Lakhimpur and other nearby districts of Uttar Pradesh.

BSP has not confirmed any casualty so far.
