New Delhi: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of Bharatiya Janata Party, continued to rule the roost in winning three out of four major posts in Delhi University Students' Union elections, results of which were announced on saturday.

It may be a minor setback for ABVP which had all four seats in 2014 and 2015 as it lost one joint secretarypost to national Students Union of Inida (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress but managed other three seats including that of the President fourth year in succession.

ABVP’s Amit Tanwar, Priyanka Chabri and Ankit Sangwan had been announced elected for the post of the Presdient, Vice President and the Secretary respectively while NSUI's Mohit Garid won the Joint Secretary seat. The elections to much-hyped DUSU were held across over 50 colleges of Delhi University.
