24 killed, 12 other injured in multiple terror attacks in Iraq


Baghdad: At least 24 persons died and over 12 sustained injuries in multiple terror attacks on government buildings and police compound here on Friday. The attacks were launched by Islamic State terrorists.

It was in the early morning when terrorists wearing explosives and weapons came to police compound and attacked a building of Kurdish security. They also attacked government buildings and mosques situated in the city of Kirkuk, said media reports.

Terrorists also seized a police headquarters, mosque and a house. Heavy firing exchanged between them and security forces.

The curfew has been imposed in the city and entrance inside the region is blocked.
