Lucknow: In today's age, as soon as any leader takes the stage, more than 20 memes will be ready to troll or slam him/her. People forward these memes without even thinking how bad impact it will have on the person and his/her image.

Social media was formed to make life and things easier for people but, unfortunately, it has worsened the things as hell.

If we take a survey, more than 90% fake news and hatred is spread through these means which were invented to get the world closer. These false rumours even lead to criminal activities like lynching, killing, rapes and many more.

There are a number of politicians, actually most of them, make false promises which they never even intend to fulfill. But what we do is even more wrong as on the basis on our likings for the parties and the leaders, we forward these 'wrong' messages to the people just to mislead them for someone else's political benefit.

Did anyone ever imagine what bad impact it makes on the image of our beloved country, INDIA, at the global level? None of us think this way and just try to have a laugh at the leaders and parties, eventually denouncing our own country.

These leaders are followed by international media and these memes and trolls are not only closely monitored but also published by them on priority. This sends out a message to the world that a country of over 1.35 billion people does not have leaders who are qualified enough to satisfy our basic needs.

And what do we think? Do these memes or funny jokes affect the particular leader? No dear... It is just the particular people who deliberately circulate such stuff just to earn some money and malign the image of our India.

If you truly do not like what your politician is doing, stop trolling him on social media and instead raise a voice against him/her in the real world. If you think only social media can help you in gathering support of the people, do remember Mahatma Gandhi got the country free from the rule of the Britishers when there was no internet.

Always remember, memes and jokes might give a minute's laugh, but they will eventually only ruin the image of your country.
