Mumbai: The height of fandom was seen when a female fan of Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt left all her belongings to her favourite actor after she died of terminal illness on January 15.

The deceased woman named Nishi Tripathi, who was a Malabar Hill resident, had willed all her money from her bank account and her bank locker to Sanjay Dutt.

The 62-year-old has nominated 'Film star Sanjay Dutt' on her bank document and has given the address of actor's Pali Hill residence as the one of the nominee.

The details of Nishi's will were revealed by Tripathi family’s lawyer after the prayer meet for Nishi's death.

The family of Tripathi was known to her love for Sanjay Dutt but even they would not have expected that the extent of it would be this much.

Nishi was a homemaker and is survived by 80-year-old mother and three siblings.

Sanjay Dutt, who refusing to accept Nishi's belongings has suggested to hadd it over to her family, was shooting for 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3' in Kolkata when came to know about the news. He said that he was very overwhelmed and was short of words to speak over the entire incident.

The actor, however, has assured Nishi's family members of all the help in the paperworks to be done after her demise.

Some facts about Late Nishi Tripathi:

  • She lived in a 3-BHK flat measuring around 2,500 sq ft at Triveni Apartments at Malabar Hill.
  • The cost of her residence is around Rs 10 crore.
  • She had submitted her will to the bank a few days before she breathed her last.
  • Her 80-year-old mother's name is Shanti Tripathi, while her three siblings are Arun, Ashish and Madhu.
