New Delhi: The problems of Reliance Jio customers proved true when TRAI on Friday released a data showing Jio’s 4G speed worst among the its contemporary companies including Airtel, Idea and Vodafone.

Here is the 4G speed comparison of cellular companies issued by TRAI:

Airtel: 11.4 mbps

Reliance Communications: 7.9 mbps

Idea: 7.6 mbps

Vodafone: 7.3 mbps

Jio: 6.2 mbps

Newstrack.com had exposed worse 4G speed of Reliance Jio by citing complaints of Reliance Jio customer.

This is what Newstrack.com had reported regarding failure of Reliance Jio:

  • “Many customers who had deserted us are coming back after Jio 4G has failed to deliver,” a senior official of Airtel said on the condition of anonymity.
  • Sakshi Chaturvedi, the new subscriber of 4G SIM, says all the queues outside Reliance Jio outlets are there because of free SIMs. She had to even take BSNL 3G after Jio’s performance.
  • An official at Reliance Jio admitted that there were issues with new activation because the free SIMs distributed so far have become unmanageable.
