Lucknow: In a high-level review meeting of Uttar Pradesh assembly polls preaparations, BSP Supremo Mayawati warned the party cadre to be alert from the poll survey agencies which according to her worked to falsely project parties like BJP and Congress.

In fact, all the big newspapers and survey agencies belonged to big industrialists and they tended to misguide people by fabricated surveys in the favour of Bharatiya Janata Party and other opposition parties, she told the meeting of office bearers and senior party leaders convened to access the poll preparedness of BSP in Lucknow on Thursday.

Not only surveys, the BJP, Congress and Samajwadi Party would indulge in all types of political gimmicks and unfair means to make their way to the pwoer in Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati pointed out adding these parties knew it well that it was impossible for them to make a cut through fair means.

Sounding upbeat over the response of party supporters in recently held rally in the state capital, the BSP President said her party was poised well to regain power fully backed by the 'Sarvsamaj' including Dalits, backwards and the Muslims. '' It is a foregone conclusion that the people of the state have made up their mind to give power to BSP in the coming assembly polls hence there is no need to get intimidated by the false propaganda of the opposition,'' she asserted.

Making light of the claims of development by Akhilesh Yadav government in the state, Mayawati said the many of the schemes were started by BSP government while many pro-people schemes were stopped by this government. '' The extravagant spending of public money on publicity may boomerang on the SP government,'' she said.
