Etawah: Expelled Samajwadi Party general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav on Sunday broke down in front of media pleading innocence in the wake of corruption charges against him and asked the party to support Akhilesh Yadav.

Mincing no words,once a party heavyweight who lost favour of the party , said the new state party President Shivpal Singh Yadav was distributing assembly elections tickets in arbitrary manner which is not going to help the party.

'' Akhilesh is undisputed party face for the Chief Minister post and should be supported whole heartedly,''he said before breaking down before the media for the treatment meted out to him in the recent past.

'' I am and will remain Samajwadi Party man and even the Apex Court had once ruled that the person remians with the party even if somebody expels him,'' he said expressing deep pain over the corruption charges against him.
