Dharamsala: Fresh from Test series performance, an upbeat Ajinkya Rahane said on Friday that team will continue with aggressive Cricket in One Day Internationals as well.

The aggressive intent of the team did the trick for India in the red ball Cricket against New Zealand which landed them in a whitewash, he said. “India played some aggressive Cricket focusing more on our strength rather than on the weaknesses of the opponents which resulted into the positive result,” said the right handed batsman.

Ajinkya has played some tremendous Cricket in the three-match Test series posting his Test best 188 runs in the 3rd Test match.

What else Rahane said?

  • Our focus will be on beginning the series with a win to get the momentum.
  • If you are a professional cricketer it is important to adjust to any format.
  • Our major focus is on the ODI series as Champions Trophy is still far away.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be yet again seen leading Men in Blue in the first ODI at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association stadium on October 16.
