Varanasi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday changed its Varanasi South candidate Neelkanth Tiwari to Sham Dev Rai Chaudhary.

Sham Dev Rai Chaudhary was a dedicated and popular senior leader of the BJP. Seven time sitting MLA from Varanasi South seat, Shamdev had begun his political career in 1967.

BJP is fielding a young face of Sham Dev Rai Chaudhary in his place.
