Pakistan army fires at some BSF posts, alert sounded on all borders
NEW DELHI: The Pakistani army which was taken by surprise by surgical strike by its Indian counterpart, violated ceasefire in Rajouri and Baramulla sectors and fired at Border Security Force posts at the wee hours on Thursday. No one has been injured.
In view of the firing alert has been sounded on all border posts and all senior commanders and second in command have been asked to patrol the area.
All the units in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu have been asked to be in full readiness as Pakistan may take some retaliatory action.
People in the border areas of Punjab and Jammu are being evacuated to safer places for the same reason.
